The Researchers perform various roles to enhance the internal and external activities of the department and the collective efforts make improvements in their research work and also in the department too. In this reason the department decided to formulate the common forum for the research scholars. The research forum is officially started on 25th June 2015 with 7 member committee including General convener, secretary and executive members respectively. After the successful completion of one year, the committee has been reconstituted with 14 members including president, two vice presidents, general secretary, two joint secretaries, treasurer, and seven executive members.

|To create an awareness regarding the research work carried out by fellow researcher in a department to facilitate collaborative research work||Research Supervisors and scholars will deliver their research work in the forum which will lead to fruitful discussion among the fellow mates|
|To motivate interdisciplinary research proposals||Allowing the scholars from different disciplines to participate in the discussion thereby motivating them to take up inter- disciplinary research proposals|
|To educate the research scholars about the facilities such as equipment, software etc. available in each department||Presentation will be made on the facilities available in each department to create an awareness about the equipments, machineries and software available in the University|
|To enlighten the various research methods and methods of scientific writing to scholars through special lectures on contemporary research topics||To arrange special lectures by eminent key speakers on thrust areas of research|
|To discuss recent hot research articles and to get innovative ideas for further research||Discussion of current research topics in leading Journals by scholars to enable them to get innovative ideas for future research|
